Master of Health Sciences in Human Movement Science

Course Overview 

Master of Health Sciences in Human Movement Science is a post graduate research degree. The degree is by research and consist of identifying a research problem in any field of Human Movement Science and through applying the relevant research methodology to achieve the research objectives set for the study. Graduates may follow Conditioning Couching, Sports couching, Referring in different sporting codes, Sports Administration, Sports Management, Gym Management, Personal Training and Physical Fitness, Health & Wellness Couching.

Admission requirements:

Applicants should have completed an honours degree in Human Movement Science (or related fields such as Sport Management, Biokinetics, Kinderkinetics, Ergonomics etc), and achieved an average of 65% for Honours degree.  Please refer to the University of Fort Hare Post Graduates rules and regulation for further information.

Programme:

  • The programme is completed by research dissertation and no course work is included.
