In a bid to ensure continued academic support to students during the Covid-19 lockdown period, the   Language and Writing Advancement Programme (LWAP) team,  based within the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC),  has moved its services online.

LWAP was established to address academic writing challenges. Highly trained consultants offer personal, one-on-one assistance,  in a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere.  The programme aims to facilitate, guide, collaborate, recommend and offer advice on writing academic essays and research.

Using a mobile phone, students are now able to get assistance with their assignments from LWAP consultants. This includes assignment reviews, online academic writing tutorials and study skills. In order to benefit from this selfless service, students are required to book an online consultation by emailing any TLC or LWAP consultant.
