Chijioke Macdonald Uwah is an Associate Professor & Head of Department of English and comparative Literature at the University of Fort Hare, East London Campus.

Research Interests: 

Research interest in African and South African Literature with emphasis on drama: Post-colonial African theatre and interrogations, Post-colonial South African theatre and socio-political realities, Dramatic text analysis. African Poetry and identity. Applied theatre and community engagement.

Modules: 
I teach the following course modules: African Literature (poetry and Drama) 1st year, African Drama and postcolonial interrogations 2nd Year, African Drama &African Poetry and Identity 3rd year Honours Drama, Prose fiction and Poetry Masters and PHD Supervision.
