Dr T Nomngcoyiya

Dr Thanduxolo “Thando” Nomngcoyiya is a Doctor and Senior Lecturer of the Social Work Department and Social Development at University of Fort Hare in South Africa. He holds a PhD, Master of Social Work & Bachelor of Social Work - Cum laude from university of Fort Hare.  Also a Business and Marketing National Diploma from Northlink College in Cape Town, He’s also doing his last semester of Post-graduate Diploma on Higher Education and Training (PGDHET) (University of Fort Hare). He is currently a Coordinator of 4^th Level Research Projects.  He is also the Initiator and Coordinator of the partnership and collaboration between UFH - Social Work Department and University of Michigan-Flint (USA).   He is also Coordinating the Hosting of Prof. Otrude Moyo, Chair of the Department of Social Work at the University of Michigan-Flint through Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship from the Institute of International Education from 15 May to 15 August 2019 in UFH Social Work Department.  He will be working close to the Fellow towards “Internationalizing the Social Work Curriculum: Breathing Life into New Possibilities, Integrating Local-Global Thinking about Social Problems to Rebuild Healthy and Vibrant Communities.”
