Dr Devandré Boonzaaier is a lecturer in the Department of Music at the University of Fort Hare in South Africa. He holds the BMus, MMus and DPhil degrees from the Nelson Mandela University. He is an accomplished organist, pianist, accompanist, trumpeter, tenor and conductor. He lectures in music theory, musicology, piano, music and arts administration. He also supervises MA in music students.
Research Interests:
His teaching and research areas include the Moravian music in South Africa, Arts Administration and Management, Choral Music, organ music, Intellectual Property in the Arts Industry. He also has interest in the Arts, Culture and Heritage sector.
