Mrs Tobeka Mtise

Tobeka Mtise is a Professional Nurse with 15 years of critical care experience before joining the University of Fort Hare as a lecturer in general nursing in 2012. She is registered with South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse, Nurse administrator, Nurse educator, Midwife, Critical care nurse, assessor and moderator. She supervises post graduate students. She currently coordinates teaching and learning in the Department of Nursing Science and is a committee member of the Faculty of Health Sciences Health Research Ethics Committee. She attended the Santrust project, which assisted in developing her PhD proposal, which is currently in the completion stage. She received exposure at John Hopkins School of Health Sciences in Baltimore, USA in September 2013 for benchmarking in order to assist in development of the simulation laboratory for the department. She is committed to continuous learning and professional growth.
