Mrs Nolwando Skepu

Nolwando Skepu (MCur) is a Clinical Facilitator in the Department of Nursing Science University of Fort Hare. She has worked as a Professional nurse for the Department of Health for 10 years. She acquired vast knowledge and experience in Primary Health Care nursing, HIV management, NIMART, working with key populations, Clinical nurse mentoring and Quality Improvement whilst working for various NGOs such as TBHIV Care and Association, ICAP, South to South as well as Africare. Currently teaching Nursing ethics and legal practice, Multi-disciplinary team to first year nursing students, and also Clinical Assessment and Management of HIV infected Children to post graduate diploma in the clinical management of HIV and AIDS. Research areas are on basic antenatal care and HIV disclosure in adolescents.
