Mrs Nokwanda Bokolo

Nokwanda Bokolo (MPH) is an Ngap lecturer in the Department of Public Health. After completing her Bcur at UFH she worked as a Professional nurse at one of the Tertiary hospitals in The Eastern Cape and gained team-work skills of, communication skills, paying attention to details and commitment to patient advocacy. In 2019 she graduated a Master of Public Health. She joined University of Fort Hare in December 2017, she is currently a PhD candidate with University of Western Cape. Nokwanda’s research interest is broadly in adolescent’s health behaviour, health disparities, health inequality and social determinants of health, substance use disorders, tobacco use, and many other key and emerging public health concerns.
