Lungelo Ndaba

 Mr. Lungelo Khanyiso Ndaba is currently an Acting Head of Department in Human Movement Science Department, a Registered Biokineticist with HPCSA and BASA with twenty two (22) years of academic and clinical experience. She holds a Master of Health Science in Human Movement Science (UFH), BSc. Med. (Hons) in Exercise Science (Biokinetics) (UCT) and BPed. Human Movement Science (UFH). He is a Level 1 International Kinanthropometrist Technician and Level 3 First Aider. He is the Pioneer of the changing of the Biokinetics academic program from 3+1 years to a full 4 year degree which he piloted it at the University of Venda between 2005 and 2010 and is now followed by most Universities in South Africa and accredited by HPCSA and BASA. He spearheaded the development of Bachelor of Health Science in Biokinetics four year degree at the University of Fort Hare in 2018 which is yet to be implemented. He has authored / co-authored 3 scientific papers in DHET peer-reviewed and accredited international journals. He has supervised 14 Honours Students and 1 Masters Student.  His research areas include Sport Conditioning and Physical Fitness Health and Wellness for abled and Disable Bodies. He has attended and presented papers in 7 national and international conferences. His teaching covers the areas of Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Applied Clinical Exercise Physiology, Nutrition and Sports Injuries.  He is currently registered for PhD with University of Fort Hare in South Africa.
