On 17th August, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sakhela Buhlungu will have a conversation with UFH alumni at the Miriam Makeba Centre in East London. The function seeks to build and maintain relations, create awareness and generate support for the core business of the university which is teaching, research and community engagement.

Since his appointment early this year, this is going to be the Vice Chancellor’s second session with Alumni following Cape Town’s and the two next stops will be Gauteng and Lesotho.  “I am quite happy with the renewed interest of Alumni in their Alma -mater, we understand there is low morale among Alumni and I hope things will change for the better”, said Noluvuko Jizana from Alumni relations unit.
