SENIOR LECTURER : INDUSTRIAL PSYCHOLOGY X2 POSTS

ALICE CAMPUS - REF NO. 7025/775

R 504 823 – R 628 029 PA (All-inclusive package)

Applications are invited for two Senior Lecturer positions in the Department of Industrial Psychology at the University of Fort Hare, Alice Campus.

 

Key performance areas: Offer lectures and assess students in relevant academic subject/s in the field of Industrial Psychology and Human Resources Management. Be responsible for administrative tasks related to teaching and learning in Industrial Psychology and Human Resources Management qualifications. Participate in the supervision and evaluation of the research work of honours, master’s and doctoral students. Contribute in the development of new curricula in line with new HEQF structures.  Conduct research for publication.  Conduct departmental and/or individual community engagement projects. Present evening classes as required and as part of the normal work load.

Minimum Experience and Key Competencies required: Some lecturing experience in a Tertiary Educational Institution.  Industry-related experience in the field of specialization is strongly recommended. Proven track record of research output published in peer-reviewed journals, and supervisory experience at master’s and/or doctoral level will be an advantage.

 

 

Requirements: 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • A doctoral degree with specialisation in Industrial Psychology/Human Resource Management.
  • Registration with the HPCSA as an Industrial Psychologist will be an added advantage.
