STUDENT AFFAIRS DIVISION

PROFESSIONAL NURSE: HEALTH CARE CENTRE

Alice Campus 

R 344 650 – R 427 618 per annum(All-inclusive package)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 

  • Ability to work independently, Good problem solving skills, Good interpersonal skills and communication skills, Report writing skills.
  • Management of minor ailments
  • Management of TB
  • Management of STI’s
  • HIV Management
  • Management of Reproductive health
  • History taking, examination, diagnosis and treatment
  • Planning and organizing
  • Family planning
  • Wellness monitoring
  • Provide comprehensive Primary health care to staff and students

 

Requirements: 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Degree / Diploma in General Nursing, Midwifery, Community Nursing,
  • Diploma in Psychiatry and Primary Health Care.
  • Certificate in Dispensing, Family planning and HIV counselling.
  • 3 Years’ experience in Primary Health Care
