Job Description: 


Lecturer – Early Childhood Development


SALARY: R 400 000 per annum - TCTC



  • Teaching in Early Childhood Care and Education Teacher Education Programmes. Commitment to register and complete a PhD in Early Childhood Education.
  • Participation in mentoring programmes in order to complete your formal qualification. Leadership in curriculum design, development and implementation for Early Childhood Care and Education(ECCE) Teacher Qualifications.
  • Undertake research either individually or in collaboration. Participating in Community Engagement initiatives embarked on by the Early Childhood Development Centre.
  • Work with an appointed mentor




  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • At least two years’ experience working in facilities with young children with learning disabilities
  • Working with families with young children with learning disabilities.
  • At least two years’ experience in training adults
