FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT AND COMMERCE

LECTURER : ACCOUNTING X2 POSTS

EAST LONDON CAMPUS - REF NO. 2269/2058

R408 499 – R507 624 PA (All-inclusive package)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: REF NO. 2269

  • Teach undergraduate students (Accounting 2 and General Accounting 2)
  • Provide leadership in curriculum design, development and implementation
  • Participate in normal administrative duties necessary for the smooth running of the department Undertake research either individually or in collaboration.
  • Participate in community initiatives embarked on by the University 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: REF NO. 2058

  • Teach Financial Accounting at post-graduate level.
  • Provide leadership in curriculum design, development and implementation.
  • Participate in normal administrative duties necessary for the smooth running of the department Undertake research either individually or in collaboration
  • Participate in community initiatives embarked on by the University

 

Requirements: 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: REF NO. 2269

  • CA (SA) OR Masters in Bachelor of Commerce Accounting
  • The candidate must have some teaching experience
  • The candidate should be willing to teach some topics in ALICE
  • Accreditation as a trainer an added advantage
  • In addition, a recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards achieving this would be an added advantage

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: REF NO. 2058

  • CA (SA) OR Masters in Bachelor of Commerce Accounting
  • Teaching experience is a prerequisite
  • The candidate will be teaching at Post Graduate level
  • Accreditation as a trainer an added advantage
  • The candidate must be willing to co-ordinate the post-graduate Thuthuka programme.
